Curious about the 29 gal. fuel tank.  Will you be running the boat very far?  Not sure about MPG of a 115HP on a 25ft.  I have a 29 gal. in my 20 ft. running a 115 Etec and wish it was a little larger.  But then maybe the 115 will do better on a longer boat.

I have similar performance with mine and believe it is common on most boats.  If you consider how the sending unit works, the size of the tank, and the fluctuation of gas with speed and pitch, you can realize why it is not true to the fuel level.  Fill the boat and run for an average full day.  Refuel and see how many gallons you used.  This is much more trustworthy than a guage.  I have a 20 Super Skiff with a 35 gallon fuel tank.  I have never refilled more than 15 gallons after a full day of running but always top of the tank after two average days on the water or one long day.  You can always invest into an electronic fuel monitoring system if you think it is worth it.
I have the 20SS also with the same fuel gauge questions.  Like you, I top off the tank after most outings.  I think a fuel gauge in any boat is not going to be very accurate.  I am in the process of installing an I-command gauge to show fuel burn.

Will your Panga be a tiler of CC?  Any idea what engine you are going with yet?  I will be interested in your progress with the build.

I can not see any pictures.  All I get is a picture saying "Please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting"  I have seen this before.  Do I need to do anything to see the pictures?

I cant figure out how to get the photos from my ipad to the site... any suggestions?

Sorry I do not know anything about ipad's.  From the home page go down to Panga Photo's and look at General Panga Photo's or Instructional Panga Photo's.  Maybe something there can help.  Or send a message to Captain Tyler.

Welcome aboard Russ.  I have a 20SS with a Etec 115 and have been out as far as 20 miles out of Anclote Fl. running in three ft. swells.  Never felt unsafe.  I have some spots I plan to fish 22-23 miles out of Hudson later this year weather permitting.  You just have to pick your days and have fun.

On the other hand I have been in Tampa Bay under small craft advisory to see how the boat handled and will not do that again.  Never felt in danger but it would be to easy to make a mistake, things could go bad quick and it was to rough to enjoy.  Don't know how much experience you have but just take your time, learn as you go and don't rush it.

Check out http://www.thehulltruth.com/ if you haven't already.  Ton's of good info there.

I would be interested in this also.  I normally fish around Homosassa and Chrystal River area and thinking about venturing further north.  Also does anyone know much about Cedar Key?
