Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and have been reading alot about Panga's for a few months now.  I have a chance to get a 2006 22' Panga.com with a 90 E-Tec for a very reasonable $10K.  The boat and motor  have 186 ours on them.  There doesn't seem much info out there about this brand but from what I can find out, they are pretty well made.
I'm not sure which model I am getting but I am sure it is not the LX.  If I remember correctly the helm said "super" something on the side.  Anyway, I am wondering if there is a dodger available for this boat.  I was also wondering how easy it is to get a bimini for this boat as the width is somewhat narrow and I would like to be able to have a longer style to cover alot of the boat.
Thanks for any info you have!

Contact Andy at Andros.  I think they have the 22 molds and I'm sure can advise you on the other stuff.

Does the boat have a liner?  The LX has a liner and the Classic does not.

Take a look at some of the pics of my boat, it's a Classic.

One important thing to check is what type of gas tank it has.  If it's aluminum you're probably OK, if it's poly/plastic then be very cautious.

For the most part, they built a good boat from the few owners I've managed to speak with.   They did put out some real crap before they went bankrupt so you'll want to take a close look at fit and finish, if it looks sloppy then it could be one of the last few off the assembly line.

If you don't have much boating experience then definitely higher a professional to survey the boat as you could end up with a money pit on your hands as replacing a fuel tank can be very expensive.

As far as a dodger for the front any canvas shop should be able to make one if Andy Andros can't help.

Good luck and post up some pics if you buy her!

Thanks for the info guys! I will find out about the gas tank.  We are on a Navy base here with alot of small craft; everyone has a boat.  Myself, I have had a 1976 Correct Craft Southwind 20 and a Futura Commando FC 470 Zodiac (ex SEAL boat).
o.sea.d....where can I access pics of your boat?  I don't know my way around the forum very well yet.  I will take some pics of the boat and maybe you all can help me out on what I am thinking about buying. I would appreciate anything you can tell me.  I will find out what type of tank tomorrow.  The guy that owns it has never had any complaints on it and the only reason he is selling is that he is retiring and doesn't want to ship it back.  He has been on the water all his life and wants to go back and buy a camper and drive around the states camping.  I guess he has had his fill of the water after 60+ years of slamming his back into a small craft seat!  Add to that he paid oround 25K, the boat is cherry and he will sell it to me for 10K.  I will also have to pay 10% duty as it has never been paid.

Thanks again for all your help.
