Okay guys

Let me know what you think of this,  It has yet to be mounted,  I ordered it and wanted a rounded tip along with cut out for anchor

but they only offered the cut out with square tip,  The boat has a lot nice curves Does this square tip seem out of place.

The round tip you added a stainless roller on top and I think that looks not as good as the anchor tucked up under the pulpit

What Say You ?

Jon

dont get me wrong, i am also working on the anchor pulpit myself and love the function of it.

i have tried and returned two pieces already because they didn't look right to me. (its very possible it's just my eyes that are off of maybe i am expecting something that isn't possible on our panga))

i am not sure if it is the proportions in the picture, of maybe just my lack of imagination to envision the finished product, but it looks strange to me. (maybe a little to long in the front?????)

what do i know anyway, wait until you see how ridicules my panga is going to look after my next 3 projects....

kind of reminds me of these guys!

I think it might just be the angle of the shot that throws it off for me. would love to see it from the ground level.

How do you plan on attaching it to the bow?

Capt thats Cold !!!

I can pull it back quite a bit Prob all the way to the edge,  I have found a recessed lift ring so I would not Loose that ability to lift

I just need to at least have the roller sticking out long enough so the Flukes don't hit the hull upon Anchor retrival

Plan on using a all stainless Lewmar winch mounted at the back of the pulpit that puts the rode forward locker

Here one on a panga Finished   Capt  Please Help me get the pictures up from other site I added the [  ]

There you go, When you find a pic on the net right click on it and hit copy image address. Then paste it in the message box highlight it and hit the button right under the italics button ( looks like a painting). It will put the image tags on either end of it for you.

As for the bow pulpit i think you need to bring it back towards the boat more like Nigels. His looks really good. And i especially like his rod holders in the bow!

Howdy Capt....

Where would one purchase this bow pulpit and what would it cost? Not extremely sold on it cause I rarely anchor, Im usually sterned up to a rig lullin AJ's,grouper and snapper off of it or Blue water fishing in 2-3 thousand feet of water (kinda hard to anchor!) but I do like the look of it. I fish off the coast of Venice La and about the only anchoring I do is on the Midnight Lump YFT fishing in the winter time....
