....And now the wait begins  Grin Grin  I have a couple more details to iron out but is basically all laid out. My goal was to find a boat that was in the 22-24' range, had a shallow draft and that had forward seating with some free-board so the kids didn't feel like they would fall overboard if they were sitting up in the bow while underway. Of course I also wanted a well put together product.

I chose the Andros 23 Cuda. They have a bit of a back log right now so its going to be about 7 months or so before I see it and about 3-4 before they pop a mold.

I ordered a Sea Foam Green with the following options

200 Etec SB on a Porta bracket.
Continental trailer, tandem axle with disk brakes
Windshield and custom grab rail
Bow cushions
8' power pole
Deluxe leaning post
Bimini top with quick release (the type that can be stowed to look like a radar arch in the up position)
Bow dodger with zip out windows
Aft folding bench seat with backrest that fits in two rod holders (similar design to a tidewater bay boat)
Custom swim platform with 4 step fold out ladder
Tournament console with built in cooler seat
Fusion sound system, i-pod ready.
Raw water washdown

I liked that trim tabs, porta bracket, live well, and many others were all standard options. Andy sat on the phone with me, not in a rush and listened to every thing I had to say. Basically except for the hull since it comes from a mold...EVERYTHING is custom and I liked that as well

As soon as I have pictures of something I will post 'em up!

Here is my preliminary build sheet:

Cool, you're going to love that boat. I have the same boat and engine setup for over a year now and wouldn't change a thing.

Congratulations! You will love it! I have had mine 3 years in August now and have never seen a boat I would prefer to have.
BTW-its worth the wait.

I never did come back and update this thread but I was able to magically turn my boat into Tarpon 26 with a 250 Etec hangin off the rear bumper....all done without divorce!!!!!
Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I should be taking delivery sometime in the early part of May it looks like.  I will be headed to the Orange Beach Alabama boat show to actually see one in person which I am excited about.  If anyone is going that way let me know.
