I have a boca grande with the factory installed underwater lights.  My boat has to round top batteries.  Do I need to keep the motor running if I want to fish at night with lights?  To keep batteries charged. Thanks

LED's don't draw much current.  You could carry a spare starting battery just in case.

Thought I might answer my own question for anyone that might have the same.  After considering my question for a day or day two it occurred to me that I could use one battery during my trial and see if it will hold for the evening.  If I have a problem I can switch to #2 since I have to two opti batteries under the console on a switch.  Wink
