Is there going to be a skiff challenge this year?  Or have I missed something?

The challenge has been set for April 6th this year. Starting from the state Line (same as last year) to Georgia.
Our initiative will be raising money for the CCA to help protect and preserve the waters of the Florida cost. If you would like to help you can make a pledge for the team of your choice (Panga) here:

Florida Skiff Challenge Guidelines

•   Date has been declared as April 6th 2017
•   Launching will be held at the Gulf Breeze Public Boat Ramp and ending in Cumberland River, GA.
•   Boat must be a Standard Production run model (No one off lay up)
•   Skiff must be 17’ - 18’ in length
•   Fuel capacity is limited to 23 gallons
•   Motor is limited to any model or brand considered the “Small Block”, nothing over 70 Hp.
•   Once the boat goes into the water, Time Starts.
•   The boat can not come out of the water, if it has to come out prior to completion, the team is disqualified and time stops. Boat must stay in the water for all repairs and fueling.
•   Any Navigational aids are allowed.

Nice! I will be sure to follow along.  If everything goes right this year my money is on Team Panga Marine. Nothing else in the field should be able to hang with you guys.

Team Panga Marine will have the best boat in challenge.  Will the teams be followed by Atlas Trax or something similar so we can watch the progress like last year?  That was exciting to watch.   Cool
